What Nexus Trips does
Nexus Trips helps you search flights, arrange bookings, submit payment evidence and access tickets. We primarily serve customers in Ethiopia. This policy covers our mobile apps and customer booking and support services.
What we collect
- Account information: your name, email, phone number, login records and preferences.
- Traveler information: passenger names, dates of birth, nationality, passport details and documents you choose to upload.
- Booking information: searches, selected flights, itineraries, booking references, seat requests, ticket records and booking status.
- Payment evidence: receipts, receipt links, transaction references, amounts and other details visible on the evidence you submit.
- Support and technical records: messages you send us, session identifiers, IP addresses and records needed to investigate errors or protect the service.
If you arrange travel for someone else, make sure you have permission to provide their information. For children, obtain the necessary parent or guardian authorization. Never send banking passwords, PINs or one-time codes.
How we use it
We use this information to run your account, arrange travel, check documents and payments, provide tickets, answer support requests and prevent abuse. Some records also support accounting and legal obligations.
We do not currently send promotional messages. Nexus does not sell personal information, share it for advertising or audience matching, or provide it for AI model training. Reading or accepting this policy does not give blanket consent to unrelated uses of your information.
Who receives it
Travelport and the airlines receive the traveler and booking details needed for your trip. Banks and payment providers can receive information needed to check or resolve a payment. When enabled, links.et checks submitted payment evidence. Authorized Nexus employees and our support team review documents, payments and booking issues.
Railway hosts our backend and database, Cloudflare R2 stores uploaded files and ticket documents, and Resend delivers account and booking emails. These providers process information needed to supply their services. Airlines and banks also have their own privacy policies.
Our checked Railway deployment is in the United States. Travel providers and other infrastructure can process information outside Ethiopia. The final provider locations and transfer arrangements remain under review.
Checks and human review
Automated checks can flag a booking or payment for further review. If you think a result is wrong, email support@travelwithnexus.com with your booking reference. Nexus employees and the support team handle review requests.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep information for the account, booking, support or recordkeeping purpose it serves. Our category-specific retention periods and backup expiry arrangements are being finalized; we do not currently promise automatic deletion after a fixed period.
In the app, open Profile → Account details → Delete account and follow the confirmation steps. The current process removes account access, preferences, saved travelers and associated passport uploads, and clears some passenger and booking-contact details.
It does not erase every booking, ticket, receipt or audit record. Some information can remain where needed for accounting, disputes or other lawful purposes. Airlines and banks retain their own records. Deleting your account does not cancel travel or request a refund.
A request process for people who cannot access the app is still being set up. For now, email support@travelwithnexus.com to discuss your request; the outside-app deletion process is not yet operational.
Your choices and security
You can ask us about your information, request access or correction, and request deletion or exercise other rights available under applicable law. We may need to verify your identity.
We use safeguards to protect customer information, but no system is completely secure. Keep your password and ticket links private. Our apps use storage needed for login and preferences; browser services can use session cookies.
Changes and contact
We will date policy updates and notify customers of material changes by email. We will obtain additional consent when required.
